Well... I'm back again... and that is because there are just SO MANY damn reasons why GearScore outclasses AIL in every way.

GearScore makes sure the item being used is useful to the class who is wearing it. If you look at the screenshot below the GearScore on the Assasin's Chestplate is over 50% less GearScore then the Kilt of Trollish Dreams. However, what do you know? The Item Level is exactly the same! Even worse, the player doesn't actually have to wear this to increase their AIL. They can simply leave it in their backpack and receive the bonus.

Would you want to take an elemental shaman along with you, if he was wearing the Assassin's Chestplate? Of course not! So stop using AIL and use PlayerScore to check a player's GearScore.

Just one more reason AIL sucks.
