Welcome to the 44th Edition of Reloading...

“Computers are useless. They can only give you answers.” – Pablo Picasso

Everyone can use a feel good moment to start the day.   Let’s go with this…

Thanks to everyone who send me some answers to the prying questions regarding SWTOR preorders that I posed in my last column.

Here are a few from Reloading… readers and tweeters

Will staggered early access prod you to buy SWTOR earlier than you would normally?
  • Nope.  I haven’t always been a patient man, but I am now. – Richard via email
  • Yes, already got the DD edition pre-ordered – Harry via email
  • I am a beta tester and cannot comment on how that experience might have impacted my decisions. Instead, I will pretend I was only following the game. If I were 100% sold on it before ever touching it, I would pre-order regardless. If I were on the fence, I don't think this move would persuade me to order any earlier. – Danny via email
  • No -- @iamhewhoisnot via Twitter

Can a cardboard box be considered high quality?

  • Yes. Much like leather, cardboard is available in a variety of thicknesses and it can be hot-stamped, embossed or treated for durability or to allow for further decoration. It also can be manufactured to meet a wide range of multi-ply, foam and corrugated specifications. – John via email
  • It can, but not really. -- @BelLamron via Twitter
  • Plastic maybe, cardboard no - @WVGravehunter via Twitter

Thanks to everyone who followed me on Twitter.  I went from 11 followers to 65 or so, which in my world is a big deal.  Thanks!
I’m traveling for the next couple of days, so out of necessity Reloading… will be short and sweet.  Heavy on the short, light on the sweet.
Here are some entertaining links to keep you busy while I fly, cab, walk and weep.

As always, you can contact me a number of ways:
  • Email
  • Twitter
  • Website
  • Telepathy (Just make sure it’s during business hours.  I hate to be woken by this stuff)

Until we meet again,
