Last week many of us across the US were gorging on turkey and other bits of food filled goodness, but the very next day Undead Labs shipped out the first DLC for State of Decay to let zombies have a go at our entrails. Breakdown, the first DLC for State of Decay, is now available for both the Xbox 360 and PC at the price of $6.99.

Breakdown adds a new endless campaign survival mode, challenging players to survive on one version of the Trumbull Valley map and then move onto the next by finding and repairing a damaged RV randomly hidden on each new map variation. Each new map increases the number of zombies as well as the danger and difficulty. The DLC also adds new weapons, challenges, and new "Hero" characters that can be unlocked to help players survive the increasingly aggressive hordes of undead zombies, each with their own set of special traits and some with unique abilities.

If you haven’t tried State of Decay yet, you can pick it up on Steam at the currently discounted price of $13.39.
