Looking for a little zombie fun this weekend? State of Decay is now available on Steam’s Early Access. The first offering from Undead Labs made its way to the Xbox 360 back in June to become the second fastest selling game on XBLA, next only to Minecraft.

As of 10am PT today, State of Decay is now available as part of Steam’s Early Access program at the price of $20. The initial version of the game is more of a testing version and may include any number of bugs and crash issues as per the warning with most Early Access titles on Steam. For now, the Early Access build for State of Decay only supports the use of a controller, so if you want the mouse and keyboard, you may want to wait until the game gets closer to its official launch for the PC later this year.

In the meantime, you can head over to the State of Decay page on Steam to learn more and decide for yourself if you want to give the game a try or wait until later.

State of Decay serves as an introduction to a larger planned world by Undead Labs, not unlike an MMOG. If all goes as planned, we should be hearing more about the possible development of the next title currently codenamed Class4 in the future.
