As
The Traveler, I've explored our universe and beyond. I've seen things
and been places you can't begin to comprehend. Who better then, to give
you a guided tour of your own conceived notion of space? I would ask
that you not reveal my identity to any of the crew though. I rather
like it on this little vessel and would hate to leave.

Dalmarus
may no longer be part of the Borg Collective, but he's still
learning what it means to be One of One instead of many. The ship's
counselor has advised that he attempt to experience the vastness of the
universe for the sake of travel itself rather than always having a
direct purpose.

This week the U.S.S. Abyssal Steed needed to bring some medical
supplies to the Bajoran homeworld, so what better place to get in some
rest and relaxation than Deep Space 9? Along the way, the scientist in
Dalmarus couldn't resist exploring the Badlands either.

DEEP SPACE 9

Deep
Space 9 is a bustling port of Cardassian
construction and formerly under their control. After the Federation
stepped in
to take joint control of the space station with the Bajoran government,
the
first stable wormhole leading to the Gamma Quadrant was discovered.
Whether
this was truly the work of the Prophets or simply coincidence is still
a matter
of debate.

THE BADLANDS

The
Badlands is a dangerous sector full of
unstable plasma and other unfriendly spatial anomalies. While nothing
appears
to be alive within the clouds, this place still holds significant
meaning for
the history of the Federation. This is the location of more than one
ship
disappearance, including that of the U.S.S. Voyager so many years ago.
