Donate Dilithium to Your Favorite Star Trek Online Foundry Author

Posted Thu, Feb 02, 2012 by Martuk

If you play Star Trek Online, you’re likely familiar with the user-generated content created by players using the Foundry. The Foundry allows players to create compelling new content that Star Trek Online players can indulge in and rate based on their experience.

Thanks to a new feature added by Cryptic aptly described as the “tip jar”, players can donate small amounts of Refined Dilithium, a new form of in-game currency, to Foundry creators as a show of appreciation for their creative content. The authors in turn can use the Dilithium to purchase additional project slots or other in-game goods.

Additionally, Star Trek Online is now available on the Steam free-to-play games list.
