The 2800 Missing Dominion Ships Return to STO This Saturday

Posted Tue, Feb 07, 2012 by Martuk

Star Trek Online’s latest Feature Episode series, The 2800, is slated for release this Saturday and Executive Producer Stephen D’Angelo has posted a new developer blog with new details about the upcoming content. The Feature Episodes explore what happened to the 2800 Dominion warships that vanished at the battle for Deep Space Nine during the Dominion war in the Star Trek Deep Space Nine season 6 episode, Sacrifice of Angels.

The short version – the wormhole aliens known as the Prophets made those ships vanish without a trace. I’m guessing this is where they sent them.

The first episode kicks off this Saturday at 10:00am PST with four more episodes to follow each week on Saturday at the same time. The first run of the series will also yield bonus rewards until it goes into reruns in late March.
