Early access to Star Wars: The Old Republic’s first expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, began yesterday for players that pre-ordered their copy prior to January 7th, but yesterday also marked the launch Game Update 2.0: Scum and Villainy. The 2.0: Scum and Villainy update added several new bits of content, much of which requires the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion such as upgraded level 55 hard mode Flashpoints, a new level 55 Operation with Scum and Villainy, and a number of combat class changes. The update also included a new Legacy Achievements system that can earn players vanity rewards and titles for completing achievements across their Legacy.

Along with the update launch, BioWare put together a new trailer to show off some of the content for the 2.0: Scum and Villainy update. Check it out below.
