Meet the New Boss. Same as the Old Boss...
You've battled your way through a dungeon with five of your closest friends (or five people you've never gamed with before in your life), or you've come to the final encounter of a raid. It's the moment you've been waiting for: finally, your blade will taste the blood of the boss you've been sent to kill. You steel your courage, trying to stand tall in the presence of his fearsome countenance. And then he says:
"Death is the only escape!"
Oooo, scary. Or it would be, if you hadn't heard it a million times before.
Today's video by Sarithus93 proves that, while it might seem cool to be a badass boss, it's really not all it's cracked up to be, because there are only so many ways to sound intimidating before you're sort of...derivative. Been there, done that. Played out. Clichéd. Lame.
It's rare to encounter a boss these days who doesn't want you, the miserable, cowardly wretch, who is consumed by hatred (or rage, or madness, or fear) to breathe your dying breath. But you should try your luck, you pathetic insect, before you perish (die, burn, suffer) when the Big Bad Boss breaks you like a twig.
You only delay the inevitable. Sucker.
