This past week the Ten Ton Hammer network got an exclusive look at the redesign of the Darkshore zone for Cataclysm. This was on top off all our other great weekly content. No surprise then that the look at the Night Elf zone gets our featured spot. Don't forget as well that above and beyond World of Warcraft there was a lot going on with the recent release of StarCraft 2 so check out all the info on it as well. The Overpull is your one stop shop to find out what went on last week, and every week, so sign up now!

Here at TenTonHammer.com besides the look at Darkshore, we covered a lot of Cataclysm topics. The changes that are coming to the interface with the launch of Cataclysm were looked at by the "Messiah". Many tweaks are planned, and as always they seem like improvements to the game. Next up both the Druid and Rogue talents were looked at in a pair of articles, since their talent trees were just redone in the beta. Last but not least, Tirisfal Glades and the Undercity were looked at, to compare what is there in the live game to what is coming in Beta.

As for WoW news it was a fairly quite week. The big news was the new game launcher that Blizzard pushed out to trial in Beta that will allow you to keep playing even when a patch is being downloaded. So far everything seems to work as expected in beta, and it is a step many players were looking forward to. Only time will tell how this works on live on a patch night though.

All this and more can be found right here at TenTonHammer.com.

In Cataclysm, the upcoming third expansion for World of Warcraft, much of the world of Azeroth as we know it today has undergone some fairly major changes. New zones have been added but plenty of old world zones have also been given both a visual and content pass that will make them just as vital as they were when the game first launched nearly six years ago.

Darkshore is one such zone, and game designers Luis Barriga and Craig Amai sat down with us to discuss upcoming changes to Darkshore's landscape, the fate of Auberdine, and the challenges of redesigning an old-world zone from the ground up in this exclusive World of Warcraft: Cataclysm content preview.

Cataclysm Interface Changes

Blizzard has a history of taking some of the best community created UI mod ideas and merging them into the game to become part of the basic UI. This happens each and every expansion, and sometimes even with major patches. Therefore when Cataclysm launches we all expect to see some changes to the UI, but what will they be? Byron “Messiah” Mudry walks you through some of the many UI changes so far in the beta in his look at the Cataclysm Interface.

Cataclysm Druid Talents

World of Warcraft Cataclysm is revamping and rearranging talents left and right. In this article we go over all the new changes to Druids that are currently live on the Beta including active and passive talents and analysis of the changes.
