There was a lot going on around this past week the on the Ten Ton Hammer network.

First up we previewed the Egyptian inspired zone of Uldum, which has been many Beta players favourite new zone. We then looked at the changes coming in Cataclysm to the zone of Thousand Needles, which are very significant, it's no longer a parched desert wastlande. We also looked at Rogue changes coming in patch 4.0.1.

Last but not least, Xerin looked at the debate that constantly rages around player tating systems in World of Warcraft. In this editorial he looked at the pros and cons of several popular systems.

In WoW news this week, we looked at potential release dates for Cataclysm, EA banter with Bobby Kotick, Patch 4.0.1, and more Real ID news as Blizzard backed down and made it optional.
