eGenesis has announced that A Tale in the Desert 5 will officially launch on August 7th, 2010. The combat-free MMOG is set in ancient Egypt is a social game with a focus on crafting and trading. A Tale in the Desert 5 will be adding a new mining system and a complex new fishing system in which players will need to capture insects for fishing. Some insects are rare and can lead to the catch of rare fish.
Fishing will now involve the catching of insects, done through a variety of everyday activities in the game. Some insects will be very rare and result in catching rare fish. In addition, fish will now have to be processed to produce meat and a variety of other resources, including colorful scales.
