Yup, that's right. Not just BONUS experience, but DOUBLE experience! Per the official forums:
It will run from noon pacific time Friday, September 26, 2008 until noon pacific time Monday, September 29, 2008.
As always this will affect combat and tradeskill experience, but not quest, achievement, or status awards.
