No Epic Weapon for Joo!

Class Epic Weapon Quests were boasted as being one of
the cooler features of the fourth EQ2 expansion, The Rise of
Kunark. Once the beta NDA had been lifted many players had
hoped to see some details trickle in, but there were mostly just rumors
and speculation. Ten Ton Hammer got the official word from
EQ2 Senior Producer, Scott "Gallenite" Hartsman. Find out
what these quests are all about, why they are such a popular feature
and why we won't be seeing them with the Rise of Kunark launch.
With the fires we had here in San Diego we had our
office shut down and we had a lot of folks displaced for a little
while. When we came back we evaluated where we were with all the epics
and where everything was sitting with the rest of the expansion. The
decision we had to make was, what happens if we get this all out at the
same time and do we have any alternatives?
