EverQuest has been one of the longest running and most popular MMORPGs out there, but if the population has seemed a little lower than usual as of late you can expect that to change next month. Recently, Sony Online Entertainment announced that a server merger will be coming to EverQuest on June 22, 2010. To help make the merger a smooth one, SOE is giving one free server transfer to all affected characters for up to seven days after the character is moved to its newly merged server. In addition to the merger, SOE also announced that a new server will be launched in the coming months. The full server merge list and additional details are available on the EverQuest forums.
