Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer will launch next week, but fans of the game have an opportunity to check out the upcoming expansion a little early. Funcom, in cooperation with IGN, is giving thousands of gamers the chance to jump into the final days of the Rise of the Godslayer beta and experience the first Age of Conan (AoC) expansion before it goes live next week. Starting today, FilePlanet subscribers can get a beta key from IGN and download the AoC client. On May 6th, 2010, players will be able to log into a special Rise of the Godslayer beta server and play through until the following Monday. If you plan to grab a key and take part in the beta offer, the AoC client is a 15gb download, so start early.
