While I’m still an active player and avid fan of Guild Wars 2, hype surrounding the game hasn’t felt so tangible since the final months leading up to the game’s 2012 release. This hype has been building ever since the official reveal of Heart of Thorns, the upcoming first expansion for GW2, earlier this year.
Throughout a recent day-long event hosted at the ArenaNet offices in Bellevue, WA, we had the opportunity to check out a vertical slice of each major feature announced for the Heart of Thorns expansion so far. This includes the revenant profession, mastery points, the first steps into the Heart of Maguuma, Stronghold sPvP, and more.
