GW2 Heart of Thorns Interview with Mike O’Brien and Colin Johanson

To say the team at Ten Ton Hammer is excited about the recently announced Guild Wars 2 expansion, Heart of Thorns, would be the understatement of the year. I’ve personally spent more time in GW2 than just about any other MMOG out there, past or present, so the journey up until this point is one I’ve followed with much interest.

Being a hardcore necromancer fan, I was elated to hear about the profession’s upcoming ability to wield greatswords, and will naturally be on a mission to learn all I can about that plus details on the necro specialization among other things moving forward. While ArenaNet is currently remaining tight-lipped about certain aspect of the Heart of Thorns announcement, the team has been more than eager to talk with both fans and press alike about all that was revealed during PAX South 2015.

Immediately following the announcement, we caught up with Mike O’Brien and Colin Johanson for what turned out to be a very lengthy discussion about the expansion. The full interview from that session will follow shortly, but in the meantime Mike and Colin were also game for doing an additional video interview.
