Do you play your favorite online game with the sound cranked up, or are
you one of those people who could care less about sound and music?
Mercurie talks about sound in MMOs, and music in Vanguard: Saga of
Heroes in particular. Will Vanguard's music be good enough to make you
want to ditch your MP3 player while you're playing?
For Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, composer Todd Masten
has been hired to write music. Masten has written music for many video
and computer games including Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Spider-Man, and
Crash Nitrokart. One thing that will set Vanguard apart from other
games is that developer Sigil’s plan is to add new music with
each new expansion and even with patches.
