Every now and again, it is nice to hear from one of the red names regarding the plague of coin sales spam most of us receive in game. There is a thread going on about just this on the Splitpaw server forum that managed to get Grimwell's attention:

Obviously SOE knows about this recent rise in spam. Now that the Buddy Key is no longer the effective path toward spamming, those folks have moved to a new method. The dev and CS team are both aware of this and want to see it cut down. The trick is finding a solution that does not hamper game play for legitimate customers. People who have a sub and just want to play shouldn't be punished or ignored just because there are plat spammers.

Grimwell continues to respond to a couple of other poster questions in this thread, so it is a good one!
