Stargate HQ does some summer cleaning.

Stargate Atlantis has been cancelled, but fear not for the Stargate Worlds or the Stargate Universe! According to Brad Wright:

"The Stargate universe is "a place in which to tell stories. And that's why there is going to be a game, because that game sees that potential -- the game makers see that potential."

I believe we can chalk this up to a reorganization of the franchise as they ready the Atlantis crew for a movie and position Stargate Universe to pick up the reigns next summer. Read the rest of the Stargate Worlds announcement at the Briefing Room.
