This week will be my last full week on the Vanguard project. To quell any rumors, this has nothing to do with anything internally. The team is great, I cant wait to see the positive impact GU4 has on live, and Im very excited about the plans for upcoming features and content. I was simply given an excellent opportunity elsewhere that was too exciting to pass up. Its been great being a part of this project and this team for the last year and a half, watching as an empty world developed in to a living and breathing place, and it's with great regret that I make my departure.
So thank you all for being a great community. Despite differences in opinion about direction or philosophy, and as either a developer or player, we've all ultimately spent our time here on the forums due to nothing less than passion for the game - and that is what makes these forums worth being a part of.
Until we meet again in this world or another, may your experience come swiftly and may your boss kills always drop usable loot.
