Will No Account Casinos Ever Hit the US?

No account casinos are growing rapidly around Europe. Everyone is talking about them: they are cool, safe, fast and require no KYC verification. These casinos are revolutionizing the industry by providing instant deposits and withdrawals.

Interestingly, no registration casinos haven’t opened shop in the US yet. In fact, they are available in only a handful of casinos. So, when will these websites take over the entire industry? When will they hit the US?

No Account Casinos—An Introduction

No account casinos launched in 2015 thanks to Swedish payment provider Trustly. The e-wallet created Pay N Play technology to change how online casinos work. For starters, players would not need to create accounts. Second, players would deposit and withdraw money quickly.

Trustly provides no registration services by working with banks. First, you create an account at Trustly and verify your account. Then you create an account at one of the banks in partnership with the digital wallet.

Not every bank supports Trustly’s Pay N Play technology. And this is the reason no registration casinos are unavailable in many countries. Presently, Trustly offers its unique Pay n Play service in these nations:

  • Sweden
  • Germany
  • Finland
  • Netherlands
  • Estonia

No Account Casinos in the US

No registration casinos are not yet available in the US. There’s hope they could land in the country soon. But the following will need to happen:

  • Increased iGaming Regulation

Despite a vast amount of games being developed in the USD, presently, only a few states permit online casinos in the US: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia to name a few. Most other states permit mobile sports betting, but not online casino gaming.

Owing to that backdrop, online gambling is a relatively small industry in the US. The number of available gambling sites in the country is no more than 100. And that means the customer base isn’t as huge as Europe yet.

Of course, things will change with time. Increased regulation will broaden the market. And in doing so, there will be a market to tap for no account casinos.

  • Trustly Needs A US License

There’s no doubt Trustly is a safe and licensed digital payment operator. But it needs a valid license to operate in the US. Lately, it has been expanding its market reach outside Europe: it launched in Canada and Australia last year.

Launching in the US will allow Trustly to strategize on how to offer Pay N Play casino services in the country. It could start by supporting states that allow online gambling. And then it could expand as more jurisdictions permit the industry.

  • More Payment Providers Supporting Pay N Play

For Pay N Play to succeed worldwide, Trustly will need the help of other payment companies. Think of Megaways slots surged globally after inventor BTG leased its license to other software providers.

Trustly could do the same. Presently, it’s working with fellow Swedish payment company Swish to popularize Pay N Play. However, no registration casinos could see much faster growth if bigger payment providers like Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Google Pay got onboard.
