Halloween comes but once a year, but it’s still arguably the
most popular holiday for online games.  Here’s a few
from some of our favorite games:

– Bloodmoon
– Zombie watch: HIGH. Undying Lord Takofenos is raising an
undead army to destroy Detroit in what is obviously a clever social
commentary on government involvement in the domestic auto industry.

-  Scarecrow Revealed in Time for Halloween
– Zombie meter: too soon to tell. Even pre-release games are
getting in on the act. Zombie watch: too soon to tell. DC has done a
great job of reinventing the creepy classic villain Jonathan Crane,
culminating in the hallucinating hijinx seen in style="font-style: italic;">Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Let’s hope style="font-style: italic;">DCUO
can create a similar toxic terror.

– Nights of the Dead
– Zombie meter – low. One of the classic style="font-style: italic;">EQ2
events returns with an all-new questline in New Halas. Other events
return, like trick or treating in Qeynos and haunted houses in
Freeport. Runs through November 8th.
