SOE Begins ProSiebenSat.1 Transition for European DCUO Players

SOE makes DC Universe Online the first game on the list to begin its transition to ProSiebenSat.1 service in Europe.

SOE announced back in February that ProSiebenSat.1 Games would be assuming publishing duties for 8 of its online gaming titles in Europe that included DC Universe Online (DCUO), PlanetSide 2, EverQuest Next and Free Realms to name a few. The ensuing backlash that EU players would be unable to play on US servers and vice versa led to some changes in the initial plans to include cross region play.

This week the first game on the list has been tapped to begin the transition with DCUO. A lengthy new message to the DCUO website explains how EU PC players can create a new ProSiebenSat.1 Games account to merge with their SOE account in order to keep playing DCUO. Additionally, the message also includes details about account billing and game time transition.

You can read more about the future EU transition from SOE to ProSiebenSat.1 Games in the official FAQ.
