what looks good on paper does not play well in the game. Many
people think that the design is written in stone, but in order to adapt
quickly the design must remain somewhat flexible. Often times
things get over engineered and need to be scaled back due to technical
limitations or time constraints. We often choose to get a
strong foundation in place for base systems so we can eventually expand
upon them as we get more time and resources.
