Getting There

To reach Lomshir, make your way west
from Khal to Lomshir Plains and then Lomshir. Alternately, you can use
the Riftway system to reach Lomshir Plain and head northwest to
Lomshir. The village is in
the central part of the chunk just south of the shore. Banuma Kanas in
located in the middle of the 3 southernmost structures in the village.

The Quest

Banuma gives you the opportunity to
choose to specialize in either carpentry or mineralogy. Choose
mineralogy, which allows you to craft things from stone (housing bricks
and magical foci among them), and you're sure to be able to make a
decent living making housing components. Banuma asks you to make 3
magic foci.

Completing the Quest

The crafting building is just to the
west of the building where you find Banuma Kanas. He has supplied the
materials. Just look under your Special Recipes section at the crafting
table to access the recipe. You must reach grade B or better with each
of the items, but the recipe is not hard for you level.

Reward

When you have made all 3 foci,
return to Banuma. He will set your crafting specialization to
mineralogy and give you the title of mineralogist. Congratulations!
