The guardian of man is a Ranger/Fighter build dedicated to preventing
the incursion of humanoids upon human and demi-human
civilization. While certainly some humanoid groups are in fact
allies or at least neutral to civilization, many are enemies and foes
who, the guardian of man feels, have no place being among the living.
As such, the guardian of man has dedicated his or herself to the
destruction of these foes wherever they are found. Gnolls,
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=36">Goblinoids
and Orcs all fall under the guardian's blade. Against many
foes, the guardian is deadly, against these enemies, the guardian is an
avatar of destruction.
With outstanding skill in archery, and bonuses to fight favored enemies
to boot, the guardian is a terror in ranged combat. Using
tumble and jump, the guardian should move to the sides and rear of a
combat, using flanking to gain a bonus to hit (especially with fighting
flanking mastery). When threatened in melee combat, move away
quickly to resume ranged combat.
