Feats 51-55

A rating of 1 or 2 means the Feat is pretty much
useless to a fighter and one that you probably want to avoid. A rating
of 3 indicates that the Feat can be used with some careful planning if
the fighter build has room to fit it in. We reserve a rating of 4 only
for those Feats that are almost necessary picks for a particular type
of fighter
build. A rating of 5 designates the best of the fighters Feats and ones
players should seriously consider in any href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?meid=5#Builds">DDO build
involving fighters.

Two Weapon Defense Weapon Finesse Weapon Focus Weapon Specialization Whirlwind Attack

cellspacing="2">
51.
Two Weapon Defense

Official Text: "Grants you a +1 bonus to your AC when you wield two
weapons."

Prerequisite: Two Weapon Fighting

Comments: If you’re going to go dual wielding, this feat is a must to
keep your AC up.

Rating:
4
style="vertical-align: top; background-color: rgb(219, 201, 125);"> style="font-weight: bold;">52. Weapon Finesse

Official Text: "You use your Dexterity bonus instead of Strength bonus
to determine bonus to attack with one or more of the weapons below."

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +1

Comments: This Feat work for a particular type of fighter build that
focuses on DEX. Try pairing it with Two Weapon Fighting for an accurate
damage-based fighter.

Weapons included in Weapon Finesse: Dagger, Handaxe, Kama, Kukri, Light
Hammer, Light Mace, Light Pick, Rapier, Short Sword, and Sickle.

Rating:
4
53.
Weapon Focus

Official Text: "Provides a +1 bonus to attack rolls when using [weapons
of the specified type]."

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +1

Comments: As a fighter, your biggest advantage over every other class
is your ability to hit a monster and do damage. This is a must for a
fighter class since your job is to be able to kill stuff. Even though
it's only +1, this Feat does help a lot. It also is a prerequisite for
Weapon Specialization.

Rating:
5
style="vertical-align: top; background-color: rgb(219, 201, 125);"> style="font-weight: bold;">54. Weapon Specialization

Official Text: "Provides a +2 bonus to damage rolls when using [weapons
of the specified type]."

Prerequisite: Fighter Level 4
Weapon Focus

Comments: You need to be able to do a significant amount of damage as
quickly as possible to kill a monster. This is another must for
fighters.

Rating:
5

style="font-weight: bold;">55.
Whirlwind Attack

Official Text: "Activate this ability to attack all enemies in a 360
degree arc around you."

Prerequisite: Base Attack Bonus +4
Combat Expertise

Spring Attack (Dodge, Mobility)

Comments: This is the ultimate mass damage melee attack in the game.
Using this attack can do an unequaled damage output on a group of
monsters. However being so powerful has a cooldown of 15 seconds, and
this Feat does nothing to help you against a single tough foe.
Whirlwind Attack can be an awesome substitute for or companion to
Intimidate.  It does the same thing, with no action timer, to
better
effect, and has the added bonus of damaging your targets. Be sure you
can handle the aggro this will generate.

Rating:
4
