That's what you get for
living in a place called Scary!
Scary and Brockenborings are hobbit towns with problems. Scary's stone
quarry is overrun with spiders, and Brockenborings has two tribes of
goblins as neighbors. Just the thing to call heroes and adventurers to
save the day!
Some of the more difficult quests of the epic
prologue are found here
in the Shire too, including rescuing a (rather foolish) shirriff from
the clutches of a vile goblin chieftain.
