Q:
Can you fight while mounted?
A: Yes, mounted combat is a feature of the game.

style="font-weight: bold;">Q: How do you fight while mounted?
A: It depends on the mount you're using. From horseback,
you can use your weapon from either side of the horse. From a mammoth
or rhino, these animals can be used as weapons themselves, providing
the same kind of real combat system you would use with any equipped
weapon. Mounts can have several abilities (such as charging) that you
can open up as you get to know your mount.

disadvantages to fighting while mounted?
A: Loss of precision, inability to use your melee combos,
some spells will not work, you can be dismounted by enemies, and you
and your mount will both die at the same time if you get killed. These
are all the disadvantages to fighting while mounted.
