Doomed!
The Mires is a rugged and dangerous zone filled with enough enemy to
bring you Doom flashbacks. The AFS offensive in this area is attempting
to not only curb Bane incursions but recapture key facilities in the
area. Ten Ton Hammer has put together an overview of this area which
will provide not only solid intel but the Logos locations as well.
Mires is the initial staging point for all Bane
activity on the Torden
continent. The bulk of the Bane forces arrive here and spread out from
Tahrendra Base to other continents, or to operations on Mires. Mires
also houses the Casso Weapon Facility, the Bane's primary source of
energy weapons, and the Fluxite Mines, where the Bane acquire the
Fluxite needed to power their weapons. The AFS have multiple friendly
areas in Mires including Baylor Base, Fort Haroun, and several smaller
outposts.
