So you've been taking a beating being a Paladin tank, but now you want to make your life easier. Well, youve come to the right place. Byron "Messiah" Mudry continues to walk you through playing a protection based Paladin, or Tankadin as they are commonly called in the World of Warcraft. In this third section of his Tankadin guide he explains Macros, Tips and Pitfalls. This section concludes the Tankadin guide until the Wrath of the Lich King is released and players have had time to figure out what the best gear, enchants and gems are to get ready to raid tank. See you all back here then.
With the new Judgement system you have several choices when you do judge a seal on an enemy. Most of the time you will be using Judgement of Light, however sometimes you will need wisdom or justice. Most players will not want to tie up 2 extra slots on their action bar for them though. What you do then is create a macro that will cast Light by default, or Wisdom if you hold down a modifier key (Alt in this case) or Justice if you hold a different modifier key (Ctrl in this case). Then simply replace your Judgement of Light button on your toolbar with this macro.
You can find all the details in the Paladin Tanking Guide - Part 3.
