Alganon has gone through its share of changes since launch, moving from a subscription model to a subscription-free model being one of the most notable. Recently, Quest Online announced a change in the Alganon leadership with the departure of game creator David Allen. The board of directors has appointed Derek Smart to lead the company as president. Smart will oversee the development and launch of Alganon scheduled for April. No reason was given for Allen's departure, but you can learn more about Alganon and Allen's replacement here.
