Blizzard Entertainment has put a new domain name on lock-down for the mysterious Project Blackstone. Fusible picked up on the registry earlier today, leading to plenty of speculation as to what the name might be linked to. While there is nothing solid as of yet, Blizzard is currently working on the secretive MMOG currently codenamed Titan. It’s unknown if this may be tied to that.

Titan isn’t the only thing in Blizzard’s upcoming arsenal. The developer also confirmed in its in financial earnings call earlier this month that it’s working on an expansion for Diablo III. Blackstone could very well fit the name of a Diablo III expansion, possibly in reference to the Black Soulstone. There’s also the third expansion to StarCraft II to follow the upcoming release of Heart of the Swarm. The Project Blackstone website is no help at the moment as it simply dead ends.

What do you think Project Blackstone relates to? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned and we’ll update you with any new details as they become available.
