Masthead Studios closed down Earthrise back in February 2012 after a brief conversion to free-to-play that failed to keep the post-apocalyptic MMO afloat. Luckily, as few fortunate games do, Earthrise received a second chance when SilentFuture announced that it would be resurrecting the title back in May.
The time for that resurrection is near. SilentFuture has now opened beta registration for players to join in on what is now dubbed Earthrise: First Impact. The game kicked off its Alpha testing phase yesterday. You can learn more about how to sign up for both the alpha and beta testing phases here.
