EVE Valkyrie, one of my personal favorite games and something I'm looking forward to the most, is going to come in the box with every new edition of Oculus Rift. That's about all there is to say about the entire ordeal. That's about it, everything, start to finish, and everything in-between. EVE Valkyrie, I've had my hands on a few times, and it's a ton of fun and one of the biggest reasons I'm excited for VR, along with my newfound addiction to Elite: Dangerous.

EVE Valkyrie puts you in the cockpit of a virtual fighter in a MOBA style action PvP game (with some PvE elements to be added). You'll dogfight it out with the enemy, utilizing virtual reality as the primary method to play, being able to look in and around your ship with the headset. Looking at targets will mark them for your missles, so that you can fly in one direction with a controller, and hunt for enemies with your headset.

As a full fledged experience, it's really impressive to me. I had a chance to play at EVE Vegas and was really, really excited. Word is that this will be a pre-order bonus, but I imagine they'll probably extend it a little past launch. I don't know if EVE Valkyrie will be playable without VR, but I'm sure details like that will come close to its launch.

Oculus Rift is scheduled for a Q1 2016 launch.
