Square Enix is putting the finishing touches on Final Fantasy XIV’s (FFXIV) 2.2 update and one thing that players will have the chance to do once the update goes live is take on the Leviathan in the new Lord of the Whorl Primal Battle. You can check out a preview of the new battle and get some details on the Hard and Extreme mode versions.

In addition to the Primal Battle preview, FFXIV Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida will be hosting another Live Letter from the Producer on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:30 a.m. PT. The livestream will preview the second part of the 2.2 update, answer questions from the community, and more.
