Red 5 Studios is hosting one final public beta test weekend for Firefall before it makes its way into open beta next month and if you’ve registered for an account on the Firefall website you’re invited. The final beta event kicks off on Friday, June 7th at 12:00PM PT and will remain open through Sunday, June 9th when the event concludes at 11:59PM PT.

Players that take part in this weekend’s event will also have a chance to win a number of prizes that include a Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition keyboard, an ATi Radeon iPower IceQ X² 3GB video card, limited edition Brontodon plushie, and a Commander-level Founder’s Pack. Additionally, all testers will receive a special set of in-game night-vision goggles for their character.

During the public Beta Weekend test Red 5 is looking for a fresh round of feedback on Firefall’s latest features and content. Testers will find an improved Chosen invasion targeting the open world, exciting new locations and dynamic missions, revamped progression and crafting systems, new Battleframe abilities and more. With Firefall’s final Closed Beta milestone hitting in July, this will be everyone’s best opportunity to influence the upcoming Open Beta launch.

As an additional bonus for helping test the game, Red 5 will be running a new trailer contest.
