Halo Infinite Battle Pass Getting Faster XP

Players will now get rewards simply for playing.

Halo Infinite’s battle pass is frustrating for many players but  343 Industries consinutes to work on ways to make it better.  In the latest update to the multiplayer Battle Pass, players receive experience for playing a certain number of matches every day, as announced by Halo community manager John Junyszek.

After Halo Infinite’s new update, players will now get XP for the first six matches they play each day, with the biggest reward given for playing just one game. This was designed to help make sure players can kick off each of their play sessions with a sizable reward, 343 Industries’ Halo community manager, John Junyszek.

Junyszek also provided the breakdown of how much XP players will earn in each match:

  • 1st Game = 300 XP
  • 2nd Game = 200 XP
  • 3rd Game = 200 XP
  • 4th Game = 100 XP
  • 5th Game = 100 XP
  • 6th Game = 100 XP
  • 7th+ Game = 50 XP

This is a huge jump from 50 XP per game.   Playing just six games will net the player 700 XP more than they would have had previously.

Will this be enough to make the players happy?  Is it ever enough? I guess we are going to find out.
