SMITE has been catching a lot of heat from the Universal Society of Hinduism recently over its portrayal of the god Kali, but Hi-Rez continues to push forward with development and has announced its plans for this years gamescom event in Cologne, Germany for both SMITE and its online shooter, Tribes: Ascend. SMITE and Tribes: Ascend will both be playable at the Hi-Rez partner booth during games com from August 15th-19th.
Additionally, Hi-Rez Studios has announced that the localized German version of Tribes: Ascend is nearing completion and that French and Spanish versions are also currently in development.
