Frogster pulled the plug on Mythos back in October 2011, but publisher T3Fun gave the game a new lease on life and relaunched it as Mythos Global last year. Unfortunately, the game has not been successful enough to warrant keeping the lights on. As such, T3Fun have announced that Mythos Global will officially sunset on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014.
As part of the closure, the Mythos item shop will be shut down on December 18th, 2013. Compensation plans are being worked on for players that made recent purchases. In the meantime, you can read the official closure announcement below.

It is with great sadness that we would like to inform everyone that Mythos Global Server will close on January 22, 2014. We appreciate the time that you've spent for Mythos Global and we know how much pain this decision would bring to our beloved players.
In line with the upcoming closure of the servers, the in-game cash shop will be closed on December 18, 2013 during the maintenance period. A Compensation Model is currently at work mainly for users who made recent purchases. Additional details about the said compensation will be posted in the future.
