After initially showing up (possibly slightly too early) on the Chinese site tudou, we have our first official trailer for the next League of Legends champion. While pertinent details on champion design, abilities, etc. haven't yet been released, it certainly seems the champion hails from Bilgewater, with the port known as Grey Harbor showing up in the video. This is also listed as the birthplace of Twisted Fate, so there could be some interesting interactions here, especially since the video focuses on an unnamed gambler. A rough translation from the Chinese site pegs the champions name as Tamm, The River King. His lore seems to be based deeply in old Southern culture, from his accent, to the "deal with the devil" stories that have been popular in that area, to the songs that refer to a river spirituality in Louisiana culture. It's going to be exciting to see what The River King brings to the League. We'll update you with more information as it becomes available, but in the meantime, enjoy the trailer:
