Video card companies have always been about pushing the heavy graphics games alongside their latest hardware, but with the GTX 950 Nvidia is targetting not the graphics hungry crowd but the performance one. Games like League of Legends and Dota 2 are and have been the most popular games in the world for several years now without being anywhere close to the prettiest ones on the marktet. Nvidias latest card the GTX 950 is geared towards those players that want the responsiveness of the latest greates graphics cards, but don't need them to be able to render photo realistic dinosaurs. 

The price also reflects this minimilist approach. At a cost of $159 it's one of the most affordable cards out there.

The company released a short video benchmarking the differences in responsiveness with the new card versus one of their older models.
