The war for Auraxis is getting a little extra fuel for the fire. SOE has announced the PlanetSide 2 World Domination Series Pre-Season Challenge, calling on players to support their empires by completing in-game events over the next five weeks. SOE team members Adam Clegg (New Conglomerate), Taylor Dowell (Vanu Sovereignty) and Dave Bennett (Terran Republic) will be assisting with the challenges.

Over the course of the next five weeks, players will earn points for their empires a number of different ways ranging from capturing outposts to holding the line. At the end of the five week period, the points will be tallied and the pre-season champion will be crowned with the winning faction receiving a unique in-game item and the customary bragging rights.
