I'm not sure how I missed this towards the end of last week (I do actually, I was up to my eyeballs in WildStar) but it seems Shadowrun Online is taking to Steam early.

Although as early access it isn't the full game, it's going to have the vast majority of core components that you'll see in the finished product (most of the combat and a little bit of PvP) but you won't be able to do certain things such as hacking or level up. The primary reasoning behind this is the fact that the development team want to get the core game-play up to scratch.

From watching the video it sounds as though the team have had a tough 12 months, so it's good to hear they're back on their feet. You can head to the website here or watch the video below.
