Even in a galaxy far, far away there are Halloween-style events. Star Wars Galaxies will once again launch the Galactic Moon Festival this month, bringing new events and costumes for players to enjoy. Temporary costumes such as the Hutt, Jawa, Salacious Crumb, Watto and Droideka are available during the festival. The Galactic Moon Festival will begin on October 21st, 2010.

In addition to the upcoming festivities, Sony Online Entertainment has put out a call for player submitted fan art themed after the event. So if you have a talent for art, check it out and see if you can get your work displayed in the game.
