State of Decay Gets Australian Release

Undead Labs brings the zombie apocalypse to Australia this week after making revisions to the game to meet ACB standards.

The zombie apocalypse began to spread last month with Undead Labs’ zombie survival simulation, State of Decay. Unfortunately, the zombie assault on Australian players was delayed after the Australian Classification Board (ACB) refused to grant the game a classification not for zombies eating your brains, tearing you in half, dying in a horrible car fiery crash or being turned into an actual Manwich, but because some medicines and drugs portrayed a positive effect in the game by granting health. Makes sense to me (sarcasm ftw).

In any case, our fellow Australian players have the chance to be devoured by undead hoards with the rest of us this week as the game finally begins to roll out after being granted its classification by the ACB after making a few revisions to the medicinal content.

State of Decay is currently available for the Xbox 360 and will be launching on the PC later this year.
