It’s that time of the year again folks. It turns out that those rumors about the Steam Summer Sale starting today were right after all. The first day of the Steam Summer Getaway Sale is now underway with a selection of games discounted up to 75% off. The first day of sales include games such as Bioshock Infinite, the Left 4 Dead franchise, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, Defiance, Don’t Starve, and several others. There will also be Flash sales, which as of this writing there is currently one with The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Legendary Edition, Counterstrike Global Offensive, Grid 2, and Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition along with community choice sales.

As an added bonus, buying discounted games during the sale will also net you some new Steam Trading Cards, which can be combined as a collection to unlock badges, achievements, discount coupons, and other rewards.

The Steam Summer Sale will serve up a new selection of games each day from now through July 22nd, so keep an eye opened in case there is something you’ve been hoping to add to your collection.
