SWTOR 2.6: Galactic Starfighter Update Launches February 4th

<p><em>Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Galactic Starfighter</em> expansion officially launches tomorrow with the new Kuat Drive Yards Flashpoint, class changes, and more.</p>

Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) players can expect some downtime on Tuesday, February 14th, 2014 starting at 2AM PT. Downtime is expected to last about five hours at which time the Update 2.6: Galactic Starfighter is scheduled for deployment. Subscribers and Premium status players have been enjoying early access to the Galactic Starfighter expansion since December and January, respectively. Tomorrow the Galactic Starfighter expansion will be available to Free status players as well following the launch of Update 2.6.

In addition to the availability of the expansion for all, the update will also include the new “role-neutral” Kuat Drive Yards Tactical Flashpoint for players of levels 15 or higher, a new elevator for Republic and Imperial fleet stations that connects to the Starfighter Deck, and a number of changes to classes and the Galactic Starfighter experience.
